Bolognese Pie

  • 500 G minced beef,
  • 1 large onion,
  • 6 cloves garlic,
  • 1 tin tomatoes,
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree,
  • 1 beef cube,
  • dash Worcester Sauce,
  •  tablespoon HP Sauce,
  • 1 glass white wine,
  • salt
  •  pepper


A variation of Spaghetti Bolognese

1.Fry onion, then garlic, add meat and brown and then add the rest of the ingredients simmering for about 30 minutes.

2. Place mixture in a glass dish and place boiled pasta quills or Penne Lisce over it.

3. Pour some fresh tomato sauce or Tomate frito over the pasta and spread a layer of Bechamel Sauce (made with 3ozs. butter 1 tablespoon flour, pint milk, bay leaf, 1/2chicken cube and pepper, or use Ready made Bechamel sauce) – top with cheese, pop in the oven until brown.
