Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 1 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated bread
  • 3 eggs
  • Marjoram, salt and pepper
  • A bit of food colouring
  • Bits of bacon optional


1. Clean and remove the stalk off the mushroom and keep for a nice omelet.

2. Mix all ingredients together, if the texture is too dry add a little water.

3. Stuff the mushrooms, dip into beaten eggs then cover with grated bread and fry until golden.

Can be served with chips, mashed potatoes, salad or a finger food.
