Pea Soup


  • 3 Celery sticks
  • 3 Carrots
  • 2 Potatoes
  • A small onion
  • A Piece of unsmoked gammon (approx 800gms)
  • Packet of Yellow Split Peas
  • A few mint leaves
  • 1/2 chicken cube


1. Place all ingredients in pressure cooker with plenty of water (as it gets thick and can stick to the bottom ) cook for 15 minutes.

2. Once pressure has been released take out and purée except for gammon and mint leafs, if too thick add some of the previous water you’ve used, season to your liking and once served chop pieces of gammon over.
