Ingredients
- 400 G frozen Spinach
- 30 G Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp grated Cheese
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- Salt
1. Firstly defrost the spinach, then squeeze it to remove all excess water. Chop into smaller pieces and mix this together with the breadcrumbs, cheese, garlic, egg and salt.
2. Oil the sides of a small mould and spread the mixture. Heat oven to 175°C and cook until firm.
3. Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and cover the top with a plate. Flip your dish and plate over, and place the spinach pie back into the oven dish. Place this back in the oven for 10 minutes.

Should you defrost the spinach before cooking or cook frozen? If defrosting, what is the best way to do this?

The spinach should be defrosted, the best way to defrost it would be in warm water. once defrosted then strain the spinach.
