Slow Cooked Pork Cheeks in Vegetable Sauce

  • 4 Units Pork Cheeks (Carrillada)
  • 2 Tablespoonful Olive Oil
  • 1 Aubergine Diced
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 1 Zuchini Diced
  • 2 Carrots Sliced Thickly
  • 1 Red Pepper Sliced Thickly
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • 1 Meat Stock Cube
  • 1 Cup Wine
  • Paprika,
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 200Grs Strained Tomatoes
  • 2 Teaspoonful Tomato Puree

1. In a frying pan heat oil and saut√© the meat, add the vegetables and cook for a couple of minutes.

2. Transfer to a slow cooker, add the wine, meat stock cube, paprika, salt and pepper add water when needed.

3. Cook on high heat for 3hrs or until meat is really tender. Remember that on a slow cooker less water is needed.

4. Serve with a handful of boiled rice.
