• 500G minced meat
  • 1 Big onion
  • 1 1/2 TSP baking powder
  • 3 Cloves of garlic
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • vegeta (Croatian seasoning) or Vegetable stock


1, Mix all the ingredients together (if possible leave for at least 30 minutes in the fridge to allow flavours to combine and settle),

2, Roll the meet into finger like shapes and and fry in a pan with some oil)

3, Once these are browned and cooked throughout, serve in a bread with freshly cut onions and a coating of AJVAR sauce. A roasted red pepper sauce.
