Juani’s Carne en salsa (beef in gravy)

  • beef strips
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 3 Beef Oxo Cubes
  • 1/2 Bay Leaf
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Cup of Peas

Heat a little oil in a pan. Slice onion and fry. Now slice up the beef into small strips or however you would like them and add to the onions.

Sprinkle 2 or 3 Oxo cubes over the meat & onions and add boiling water to cover, and the bay leaf & stir. (I like to add some Bisto gravy granules to thicken it up – adds flavour too!)

Add veg of your choice such as peas or carrots, stir and leave to simmer until the meat is tender. Serve with rice, mash potato or chips.
