Sweet & Citrus Chicken A La Bonavia

For Chicken Marinade (Once with chicken just refrigerate for 1 hour)

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (Boneless)
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup of white wine
  • 1/3 cup of honey (plus 2 tablespoons extra for cooking/glaze)
  • Juice of 1/2 Orange
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • Salt & Pepper

For Glaze/Topping Salsa

  • 1/3 cup white wine (optional)
  • 2 Garlic Gloves very finely minced/diced
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • Juice of 1/2 Orange
  • This glaze is to be simmered for 10 minutes and poured over cooked chicken so make at the last stage of the cooking


1. Prepare Marinade and place chicken breasts into a container pour marinade and refrigerate for about 1 hour

2. Cut the chicken into thick strips and cook on a skillet/grill pan

3. Once the chicken is starting to cook/brown, pour 2 tablespoons honey into the pan to give your chicken a golden/bbq colour

4. Before your chicken is fully cooked, prepare the topping glaze by placing all ingredients into a small pot and simmer for about 10 minutes

5. Once all is cooked pour the sweet glaze over the chicken
