Chicken and Ham Pie

For Pastry

  • 1 Glass of Plain Flour
  • 1 Glass of Water
  • 1 Glass of Oil
  • Pinch of Salt

For the filling

  • 500g Minced Chicken
  • 500g Minced Ham
  • 3 to 4 clove of garlic
  • 2 Eggs ( beaten)
  • 3 Boiled Eggs
  • 1/2 lemon grated zest
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Ginger
  • Salt and Pepper
  • A Pinch of Ground Nutmeg


First make the pastry by Pouring the flour, salt, water and oil into a large bowl and mixing to make a dough, if its to oily add more flour.

Line an oven dish with half of your rolled out flattened dough , then in a bowl add in the chicken mince and ham, add all the spices and lemon zest, pour in the beaten eggs and mix well.

Place in the dish. Peel off the shell from the boiled eggs and place the eggs in the centre of the dish, making sure theres enough meat to cover the top. Roll the rest of the pastry and line the top of the dish.

Bake in an oven of 180 degrees C for about 30 – 45 minutes
