Perfect with some jam and cream alongside a freshly brewed pot of tea. is anyone else feeling peckish?


  • 8ozs self raising Flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2ozs margarine
  • 1oz castor sugar
  • 100mls milk


1) Mix flour salt, rub in fat. Stir in sugar add milk, mix to a soft dough. (Add milk little by little )

2). Turn to a floured board .

3)Knead lightly and roll out to just 1cm thick.

4)Cut into rounds and place on a greased baking tray. Bake for 10 to 15mins at 200c
