Mint Lemonade

Spring and summer are the perfect time to enjoy zesty fresh flavours and keep yourself cool with on those hot afternoons. Surprise your family and friends with some fresh mint lemonade, a perfect little something to enjoy at a BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 6 – 7 lemons
  • 3 Limes
  • Fresh mint
  • 2 tsp Unrefined sugar
  • 1ltr Sparkling water
  • 1 Glass Almond Liquor or Vodka

Method

Squeeze the juice out of all the lemons and limes (saving half of each), pouring the juice into a large jar.

Slice the remaining lemon and lime halves into thin rings and add to the jar.

Sprinkle in a table spoon of sugar, give it a taste, if too sharp add a little more and top it all off with a glass of our choice of liquor.

Grab some mint give it a good slap and add it to the juice, then pour in the sparkling water.
