Gambas a la Plancha – Grilled Shrimp

  • 1kg Shrimp
  • half a lemon
  • salt
  • olive oil


Simplicity at its best.

1. Rinse and salt your shrimp.

2. Heat your grill until it is extremely hot and pour a drop of olive oil then place your gambas on your hot iron grill and grill for 10 minutes, turning occasionally so they don’t burn.

If you would like to add a bit of extra flavour squeeze a bit of lemon offer the shrimp as they cook, otherwise serve as they are with half an un-squeezed lemon.  The shells will brown but the inside will remain pink and cooked.
