Eggless Chocolate Cake (suitable for Vegans)

  • 1 1/2 cups self raising flour
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cold water


In a large bowl sift the flour and cocoa powder, add baking soda, sugar and salt then mix together.

Now make a well in the middle and add the wet ingredients and mix together with a hand whisk.

Grease and line a loaf tin and bake in oven at 180C for 30/35 mins

Add a frosting on the top of your cake to your liking, i made a chocolate butter icing with flake (this not suitable for vegans)

Really nice and moist cake enjoy
