Summer Black Bean Burgers

This summer why not try a different kind of burger at your bbq.

Ingredients

  • 2 tins black beans (blended)
  • Boiled brown rice
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Soy sauce
  • Coriander leaves
  • Tomatoes
  • Salad Leaves
  • Onions
  • Burger buns

Method

Blend the black beans into a paste, boil a handful or so of brown rice and do the same. Mix the two ingredients together with breadcrumbs and soy sauce, until you have a mouldable burger mixture.

Shape the mixture into burger patties and place on the bbq for 10 minutes, turning over once in a while, until hot throughout and charred on the outside.

In the meantime prepare the vegetables, assemble the burgers and serve.
